Oven Baked Chicken Wings

Here’s a great recipe for oven-baked chicken wings that are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds chicken wings (use the entire wing but cut into parts)
  • 2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the baking powder, salt, garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, and any other spices you’d like to add.
  3. Place the chicken wings in a large bowl and pat them dry with paper towels.
  4. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the chicken wings, and toss to coat evenly.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce (such as Frank’s RedHot)
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat.
  2. Add the hot sauce, white vinegar, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the saucepan, and whisk until well combined.
  3. Cook the sauce over low heat, stirring occasionally, for 5-10 minutes, or until it is heated through and well combined.
  4. Remove the sauce from heat, and let it cool slightly.
  5. Toss the sauce with cooked chicken wings until they are well coated.
  6. Serve the chicken wings immediately.
